IDC Industries specializes in the design, engineering and manufacture of critical spare parts and engineered components for rotating and static equipment. Through our UAE-based machining and manufacturing capabilities, we support the oil and gas, power, petrochemical and wider industrial sectors with reliable, locally manufactured solutions.

Our manufacturing expertise covers steam and gas turbines, compressors, generators, gearboxes and pumps, including:

  • Turbine blades, nozzles and diaphragms
  • Diffusers, impellers, rotors and shafts
  • Guide blade carriers and bearing pedestals
  • Turbine casings and welded turbine components

Precision Engineering and Custom Manufacturing

Our specialized machining and manufacturing division performs turning, boring, drilling and milling using manual and CNC machines. The facility is equipped to handle large parts measuring up to 5 metres in diameter and 70 tonnes in weight, supported by rotor-balancing capability for equipment weighing up to 50 tonnes.

We provide complete manufacturing support, including:

  • Engineering and component design
  • Reverse engineering and 3D modelling
  • Blue-light scanning and dimensional inspection
  • Material sourcing and pre-machining
  • CNC and conventional machining
  • Fabrication and welded assemblies
  • Component redesign and performance optimization

By manufacturing critical industrial components within the UAE, IDC helps customers reduce dependence on overseas supply chains, shorten delivery periods and improve equipment availability. Our local manufacturing approach supports the UAE’s Make It in the Emirates and National In-Country Value initiatives while developing sustainable engineering and manufacturing capabilities within the country. 

A recent example involved the local manufacture of a severely damaged steam-turbine bearing housing. IDC completed the engineering, local material procurement, pre-machining and CNC manufacturing process and delivered the finished component in 10 days, compared with the stated OEM delivery period of at least six months
